Kuretake Double Ended Brush Pen no. 55

£5.00

All the stationery in my shop is drawn from my own holster! Sharing my illustration toolbox with you, these items are my personal favourites, go-tos for myriad illustration and lettering jobs, and here for sale in my shop for the first time.

The Kuretake Brush Pen ('fudenosuke') has a fine brush end and a fat brush end, both tapering to a delicious fine point, The ink is rich and wet and black (so give it a sec to dry).

Sweeping, narrowing strokes are possible and these pens are also excellent for lettering, enabling an easy 'signwritten' look. the smaller brush tip is harder, allowing for more even strokes with pressure.

ALSO - pen nerds will feel me on this one - both lids pop one into the other, so when you're using one end the loose lid doesn't roll away.

Black ink.

The Kuretake Co. Ltd was founded in Nara in 1902, manufacturing Sumi Ink and and today making markers, inks, brush pens and myriad other writing tools. Their pens are made in Japan.

Postage ยฃ1.50 in the UK (classes as a 'large letter' due to its thickness). Pens and pencils make for surprisingly deep envelopes, thus postage falls into the ยฃ1.50 category for these and other pens. There's been a recent rise in mailing costs to the US recently made by the UK Post Office, too, pushing postage to the US higher then previously; sorry American friends!.
