Pentel Cartridge Pen with 2 cartridges

£16.50 / Sold Out

All the stationery in my shop is drawn from my own holster! Sharing my illustration toolbox with you, these items are my personal favourites, go-tos for myriad illustration and lettering jobs, and here for sale in my shop for the first time.

The Pentel Cartridge Brush Pen ('fudenosuke') has a very fine man-made bristle brush tapering to a satisfying point. The ink is rich and wet and black (so give it a sec to dry) - and because it has cartridges, this one won't run out, like the Kuretake or Zebra which are designed for one-time use.

With waterproof, fade-resistant black ink, the GFKP3-A is a 'fude' or brush pen is like a paintbrush but with the non-dip ease of a pen. Good for sketching, line-and-wash, cartooning and lettering - and although I've never used it for this myself, known to be loved by Manga artists and of course, for Japanese and Chinese calligraphy.

And, Pentel were only the second company in the world to launch a brush pen (the first was Kuretake).

Spare cartridges are available in the Inkymole Shop too.

Silver-printed black casement; black ink.

Postage ยฃ1.50 in the UK (classes as a 'large letter' due to its thickness). Pens and pencils make for surprisingly deep envelopes, thus postage falls into the ยฃ1.50 category for these and other pens. There's been a recent rise in mailing costs to the US recently made by the UK Post Office, too, pushing postage to the US higher then previously; sorry American friends!.
